Scans from a phone or office copier often end up with a few pages upside down or sideways, especially when portrait and landscape forms are mixed. Such PDFs are tiring to read on screen and easy to misprint. This tool shows every page as a thumbnail so you can spot the wrongly oriented ones and fix them page by page.
It is intuitive: click a page thumbnail to rotate it 90° clockwise. Click again for 180° and 270°, and a fourth click returns it to its original position, so three clicks equal 90° counter-clockwise. If the whole document is wrong, use “Rotate all 90° clockwise” in one go. When everything looks right, download the corrected PDF.
Rotation works by changing each page’s Rotate property with pdf-lib, adding to its existing angle, rather than converting pages into images and redrawing them. Text therefore stays selectable, searchable and copyable, vector graphics and images stay crisp, and the file size barely changes. That is fundamentally different from rotating a screenshot and saving it again.
For PDFs with an open password, the tool asks for the password before loading the preview. Everything is processed in your browser and files are never uploaded. If you also need to delete or reorder pages, combine it with our PDF splitter and PDF merger.
