The Pomodoro Technique splits work into 25-minute focus sessions separated by short breaks, which keeps your attention sharp without wearing you out. This timer has three modes: Focus Time (25 minutes), Short Break (5 minutes) and Long Break (15 minutes). Press Start Focus to begin the countdown, press again to pause, and Reset restores the full time for the current mode. The progress ring shrinks as time runs out and changes color by mode, orange for focus, green for a short break and blue for a long break, so you can see where you are at a glance.
When time is up, you hear a chime and a message appears below the timer, along with a note from the desktop pet; nothing pops up to block the page. After a focus session the timer switches to Short Break, and after a break it switches back to Focus Time, but the next session does not start on its own; press Start again so the clock never runs while you are away from your desk. The classic method calls for a longer break after every four pomodoros. The timer does not switch to Long Break automatically, so select it yourself when you need it. The countdown is based on the exact end time, so it stays accurate even when you switch tabs and the browser slows down background pages.
The Focus Task Board on the right lets you list what you plan to work on, each with an estimate of 1 to 10 pomodoros. Every completed focus session adds one to the first unfinished task, shown as completed/estimated, so you can compare your guesses with reality. Check a task off when it is done and it fades with a strikethrough; the ✕ button deletes it. Tasks are saved in this browser's localStorage, so they are still there when you come back, but they do not sync to other devices.
Ambient Focus Sound offers Focus Rain and Campfire, which you can play alone or together. Both are synthesized live with the Web Audio API: rain is filtered white noise, and the campfire is low brown noise with random crackles, so nothing has to be downloaded. The sounds play only while the timer is running and stop when you pause or switch modes. The three durations are fixed and cannot be customized; if you prefer a 50-minute rhythm, simply run two focus sessions back to back.
