AlpaKit ("we", "the site") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our services, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
1. How files are processed
The vast majority of AlpaKit tools (PDF processing, image conversion, format converters, etc.) run 100% in your browser. Files, text, or images you upload or paste are processed entirely in your device's local memory — they are never sent to AlpaKit's servers, and we have no ability to read their contents.
This temporary data disappears when you close the tab or refresh the page. We do not keep any copies.
2. Local storage
To power features like "Favorites", "Recently used tools", and language preference, we store a small amount of data in your browser's localStorage. This data lives only on your device and is never uploaded to any server.
You can clear this data at any time via your browser settings.
3. Cookies & advertising
We may use Google AdSense or other third-party advertising services to display ads. These services may place cookies in your browser to show personalized ads based on your interests.
You can manage your ad personalization preferences at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), or block cookies via your browser settings. Please refer to each third-party provider's own privacy policy (e.g. Google's: policies.google.com/privacy) for how they handle data.
4. Third-party analytics
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to collect anonymized traffic and performance data (e.g. page views, load times) to help us understand usage and improve the service. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual users.
5. Data security
Because our core tools process data entirely in your browser, your files and content never pass through or get stored on our servers, greatly reducing the risk of data exposure.
6. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us below and we will address it promptly.
